By using this website or the Odysseas app, you unconditionally accept these terms of use. If you disagree with any part, please do not use the service.
Description of service
Odysseas is a photo capture and certification app delivered under the PLATO programme, funded by the European Union and the Bodossaki Foundation. Its aim is to give citizens a tool for verifying the authenticity of photographic material.
The service is provided free of charge with no hidden fees or subscriptions. The project team reserves the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the service, in whole or in part, for reasons of maintenance, development, or programme completion.
Use of the app
You agree to use the app in accordance with applicable law and good faith. It is expressly forbidden to use Odysseas for:
- harassment, intimidation, or violation of others' privacy
- capturing minors without the explicit consent of their legal guardian
- attempting to bypass or forge the certification mechanisms
- any unlawful or malicious action that harms third parties
You are solely responsible for the photos you take and share through the app.
Limitation of liability
The service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied. The project team makes every reasonable effort to maintain continuous and secure operation, but does not guarantee uninterrupted availability, absence of errors, or absolute resilience of the certification mechanisms against future malicious techniques.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the project's institutions bear no liability for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages that may arise from use of, or inability to use, the service.
Modifications
We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Any material change will be announced on this page along with the updated date. Continued use of the service after changes are published constitutes acceptance thereof.
